Something similar happens with employer contributions to company pension plans: although employees must include them in their IRPF, they can apply a reduction which, in practice, has the same effect as a tax exemption. <\/p>\n\n<p>In 2022, the tax advantages of individual pension plans were reduced, while those of company plans were strengthened. Specifically: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The maximum contribution to individual pension plans has been reduced to \u20ac1,500.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>However, company plans have been strengthened, and in 2022 annual contributions to such plans that qualify for the reduction may be up to \u20ac10,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the employee makes contributions to their individual pension plan, the amounts contributed must be deducted from that annual \u20ac10,000 limit.
